This unique blend creates an extremely hard-wearing, lush green lawn that will thrive in warm to dry situations. Brunnings Kikuyu needs less water to survive than most other lawn varieties and grows in nearly all soil types. Unless like most common lawns, Brunnings Kikuyu is self-repairing so that even damaged areas will re-establish over time. Brunnings Kikuyu also contains a nursery cover of “easy to establish” lawn specific turn annual ryegrass to provide early germination and greening in 7-10 days while allowing the slower germinating Kikuyu time to establish. Eventually the Kikuyu will take over the entire lawn.
