Designed for the Fluval C Power Filters. The various filter mediaprovides extensive 5-stage filtration, two mechanical, one chemical and two biological stages, for outstanding results.

• Foam pad is highly porous, with a large surface area that mechanically filters large particles and debris from the aquarium, creating for a healthy and clean aquatic environment and itslides out easily for quick cleaning.
• Poly/Foam Pad effectively performs the first and second stages of mechanical filtration. In stage 1, the porous foam side captures large particles. In stage 2, the dense polyester side traps finer debris.
• Activated Carbon provides superior adsorption qualities that effectively eliminate odours, discolouration and impurities.

In the final two stages, a Bio-Screen pad provides massive biological surface area for friendly bacteria to colonize, plus it blocks debris from entering a trickle chamber filled with C-Nodes that are super-charged for fast and efficient nitrification.
