This dual-action formula contains Fipronil, which kills adult fleas and ticks by affecting their nervous system, and S-methoprene, which halts the development of flea eggs and larvae. You may see more fleas temporarily after application, as Fipronil causes hyperactivity in fleas before they die.
Frontline Plus also treats and controls biting lice and flea allergy dermatitis, a common issue in dogs sensitive to flea saliva. When applied every two weeks, it protects against paralysis ticks, and with monthly application, it controls brown dog ticks.
