Vetafarm Triple C is a broad-spectrum antibiotic powder specially formulated for use in ornamental birds to treat bacterial infections when the exact bacteria type is unknown or multiple groups are suspected. It is an ideal first line antibiotic that can be easily administered by adding to your birds food or water.

To ensure effectiveness, all sources of calciumincluding supplements, shell grit, and cuttlefish bonemust be removed during treatment, as calcium interferes with the antibiotic’s action.

After completing treatment, it is recommended to restore healthy gut flora with a Synbiotic supplement.

Directions for Use

• Do not use on birds intended for human consumption

• Remove all unmedicated water sources; prepare fresh medicated water daily

• Remove all calcium sources during treatment (supplements, grit, cuttlefish bone)

• Administer for 57 days (up to 45 days for Psittacosis) in glass, glazed, or plastic containers

Dosage:

• Parrots: 5.0 g/L in water (1 tsp per quart)

• Finches/Pigeons: 2.5 g/L in water ( tsp per quart)

• All ornamental birds: 5.0 g/kg in dry food ( oz per 6 lb)

• All ornamental birds: 10 g/kg in hand-rearing food (1 oz per 6 lb)
